Herbal Plant Research Institute, Department of Medical Science, Ministry of Public Health has published the document about “kour tong” and its medical properties. Kour tong (Houttuynia cordata Thunb. ; in Chinese language Chi, chu tsai, yu hsing tsao, yu xing cao ; in Japanese language Chung-yao, doku- dami, gyoseiso, shih-yao, zyuyaku ; in Germany language Buntblatt, chine sischer eidechsenschwanz, Chamaleonpflanz) is one kind of tropical plant which has plenty of pharmaceutical properties that are useful for human’s health.

It was reported that these properties could destroy cancer cells and inhibit the strain of HSV-1 and HIV-1 in the test tube at the laboratory scale. In addition, Houttuynia sodium in “kour tong” has the property to enhance the human immunity. Therefore, consumption of “kour tong” extract (“Tong Nua Ngam” formula) help prevent the Influenza 2009.

 
2) White Kwao Kreu Wine or Shiro Kwao Kreu Wine

Style: White low alc (1.5%)
Quality :Light gold color wine. Sweet but acid balance, smooth and good impression.

Style: Semi – dry, white wine
Quality :Brilliant, light yellow in color with typical Lychee aroma. Easy to drink, medium finish with a touch of sweetness. The smell is something similar to that of Gewurztraminer grape wine.

Quality :Brilliant, deep red ruby color with tropical fruity and spicy aroma of Mangosteen fruit. Firm finish with fine tannin.
